Results

Results

The C-OIL project has provided the following specific results:

  1. New knowledge in the application and sensitivity analysis of different Artificial Intelligence techniques (Analogues, Adaboost, RNN-LSTM) for the simulation of high resolution currents at coastal and local scale.
  2. New advances in the optimization of Lagrangian spill simulation models to improve concentration prediction and definition of toxicity thresholds.
  3. Development of a downscaling methodology downscaling based hydrodynamic downscaling methodology for the prediction of currents at coastal and local scales (ports, bays and estuaries).
  4. Based on previous results, development of a methodology for the simulation of oil spill evolution based on hybrid AI and numerical modeling techniques.
